40 pounds of muscle in 2 months?

I just saw an article on Yahoo about an upcoming movie with Mark Wahlberg. The article said that he bulked up for the movie and put on 40 pounds of muscle in 2 months. I raised my eyebrow at this but I ask you, does that sound right???

With steroids sure, but a lot of these actors like to feed their egos by convincing themselves that all the weight they gained is muscle... for instance look at Taylor Lautner, dude said he gained 30 pounds of muscle but still had like 14 inch arms..

He also started a new sports nutrition line called "Marked" doesn't surprise me that he's producing articles saying that he's making unrealistic gains.

I once put on 30 in a month but I looked too bulky and my wife said I was too heavy on her lap so I lost it.

    With steroids sure,

no, just no. Not even with roids.

and Marky Mark is no noob, so no "newbie" gains either.

Newbie gains accounting for a 40 pound muscle gain makes less sense than taking steroids anyway...
