Not Eating Enough Calories?

I think a lot of people have gotten the whole bull**** lecture about how 1200 calories is simply low for us women. I respect that people rant about it on and on thinking they know everything. But.. my body craves NUTRIENTS not CALORIES. My stomach is not counting the calories when I eat something. It's taking in all the nutrients it has. Besides, tell me how I'm suppose to hit 1200 calories when I eat mostly vegetables? (I'm a vegetarian, for those of you who don't know.) So do me and yourself a favor, before you reply back with some argument, think about it. I eat enough for my body to be satisfied. I eat enough for my body to feel energetic and work out. I eat around 900-1100 calories a day. I AM FOR HEATH, AND AM DOING THIS THE HEALTHIEST WAY POSSIBLE.
Thank you.
Thank you.
