streching question

I notice today when I was working out that my hips were really tight any good way to stretch them out?
also I had knee surgury so i have a week knee any low impact work outs but still get the results as squats?

    Before I start any workout I do a 3 stage stretch routine which consists of dynamic stretches, static stretches, followed by stretching through the movement (exercise).
