Which HRM do you prefer?

I am definitely getting a HRM for Christmas from my hubby but dont know which one to get. I have heard everyone talk about the Polar, but after doing some research found that lots of people have issues with the Polar. We don't want to spend an insane amount of money either. We found a Garmin 410 that may be really good for a good price. What do you guys think?? The good, bad, and the ugly of HRM's???

    I bought my Polar used and I love it. No problem here so far :)
    But if you don't want to get that one my hubby had a garmin HRM/GPS that he really liked. His in a older version though
