There may already be a topic on this that I am unaware of. If that is the case, if someone can post the link for me that'd be great!!

I just have a couple of simple questions:

If you are a Beachbody Coach, do you enjoy it? What made you decide to start? Is it worth it?

Just give me a little run through of your experience with being a Beachbody Coach.

I really appreciate your feedback! Look forward to hearing from you!! Thanks y'all!!

One does not merely become a Beachbody Coach.

    Wait, actually you do.

I think you have to be willing to post a lot of spam on friends' walls too.

In all seriousness, it's another multi-level-marketing scheme (Like amway) that has more or less worn out its welcome. And also, most people around here know that there are better options for less money, and have also been plagued by hundreds of beachbody coaches friending them to try and sell their wares so... People are some bitter about it.

"Beachbody Coach" is just Beachbody's term for "commissioned sales person." That's all it is.

Well, yeah, kind of. My coach is pretty laid back and he doesn't hound me every day to make sure I'm doing everything 100% correct. He checks in with me once a month or so. So it depends on the coach's personality.

i am assuming that whatever coach recruits you ends up making money off you.

plus you have to pay some kind of annual fee i believe.

I don't know, they say the good things about it are making money and inspiring others. i am convinced i can't make money selling anything, and i'm pretty sure i can inspire others better if i'm not making money off them.

Well I have been using Beachproducts for more than a year before deciding to sign up as a coach. I did it for several reasons. 1. The discount on the products I was buying anyway. 2. After the results, people were always asking me what did I do. I spent so much time selling the products without getting paid. People were buying the products because I recommended them and I learned I could get paid for doing what I was already doing. I am product of the product. It really works.

I have a couple of friends that do it and they have answered questions when I asked but have never pressured me to try it. It all depends on the person. I don't know how they started doing it but they are mostly doing fairly well with it.

Would anyway say that the one's you know that are annoying are only on MFP and Facebook and maybe they wouldn't be as annoying if they didn't try their sales pitches through health sites such as MFP??

I have friends that are beachbody coaches who signed up for the discounts. They are not super annoying about it though. I think maybe once a month I hear about a discount going on that I can get through them, but otherwise thats it. I like their workouts for what they are and have some of them, but I've never followed them through, and I dont use their shakeology products. I have seen a lot of people on MFP that are super annoying about it though. I also use Sparkpeople's website and the beachbody coaches there are not annoying at all - but I think Sparkpeople does a better job at controlling them.

FYI: Not all MLM's are evil. Yes, Amway is the one that everyone comes up with when they see a MLM and think SCAM SCAM SCAM however there are some very successful MLM companies:

    Mary Kay
    Avon
    Tupperware
    Tastefully Simple
    Simpata

Just to name some of the most recognized names that are out there that happen to be MLM companies.

I don't mind the occasional posts that this particular person was putting on FB but when he started asking me day in and day out to become a coach it got to be a little much.

I'm not interested in being a coach but how can I find a coach to get a discount on insanity?

I think these comments ARE informative. It shows you the lack of esteem that BB coaches have. Most people think of them as annoying people who are just out to make money. I think it's important that you realise this.
