I have some cleaning I need to get done, but I'm not up for it right now. I wish I had more things to do. I get so bored lately. I live all the way across town from all of my family and there's nothing to do nearby. I dont have a vehicle, and even if i did, i can't afford the gas to go anywhere. I really need to make some friends. Haha any ideas on what to do?

Go outside. Take a camera and look at things from a different perspective.
Turn on an oldies station and groove in your living room.
Rearrange some furniture.
My grandmother always told me this: "Only boring people can get bored."0 -
Haha well thank your grandmother for calling e boring cause I'm ALWAYS bored! Lol thanks for the tips!0

She used to get so frustrated with us as kids...we were always bored too.
But, now that I'm a mom I find that I am trying to say that to my kids too...mostly it's just about not relying on others to entertain you.
I'm probably a boring person too though...I never want to DO any of the things I come up with. LOL0 -
Like was said, try viewing some life through the camera. Pick a theme for a month and try that. Or do a Picture of the day for a year and post them for your daughter to see when she gets older. You could choose her for your subject and have the photos all over as you do things.
Find a hobby that you can do when there is quiet time. There are so many to choose from. Maybe even find a way to do volunteer work for some organization that you find interesting that you can do from home.0 -

Funny. When I used to say I was bored my mom used to say that "just means you aren't smart enough to entertain yourself and I know better. Go outside and play."0 -
It must be tough being stuck at home all day with a baby - I'm an extrovert and I'd go mad without some adult human company. What can you set up/ attend locally with your little one? Mums and bubs groups at the local library, community centre, church, swimming pool? Do some research about what's available. You could just put a notice up for other local young mums to go walking/ have coffee once a week.
What about some flexible volunteering - could you and your little one brighten the day of folks in a local rest home once a week? Or do you have one of those programmes where an elementary school class 'adopts' a mum and baby to teach them about child development? Could you go and listen to reading or help out generally in a classroom or preschool (good practice for when your little one is older). Volunteering with a reputable organisation is great for your CV as well as giving you something to do and helping a worthy cause.
What hobbies have you got/ could you get into and do with others? Knitting, scrapbooking, cooking, photography or whatever appeals.
If you don't have a car, is there any public transport nearby? (if not, why on earth did you move there - everyone needs to be able to leave the house independently! Maybe find something that you can do to earn or save a bit of money towards a cheap car).
Good luck and remember - life if what you make it!0 -

No public transportation nearby that I've been able to find. And we moved here because no apartment complexes would accept my husband's income as enough to pay for it, and this was the only decent house we could afford that could be considered safe to raise a child in. As for hobbies, I have a few but I need to find some cheaper ones. Lol! I make more jewelry than i have enough money to replace the materials with. I love to bake but I have no low cal recipes and all I know how to make is bad for me!! Lol I love canning but I want to branch off from just jelly and do stews and things. However I only have a hot water bath canner, and for most of the recipes I want to make, you have to use a pressure canner. However, the camera suggestions are great ideas! I just have to find my camera now! (the hubby borrowed it...hehe)0 -
