New strategy idea for Christmas

OK, so I KNOW I am going to go over on calories at least a couple of times in the next week. Sort of like the past week.

I am not worried about it, it is Christmas. I have also been frustrated with the weight loss lately.

So I am going to try a more out of the box approach. Well, out of the box when you are still trying to drop another 100 pounds at least.

I am treating the next week as if I were bulking. Since I know I will be over, I am going to double up my already heavy lifting schedule.

If I know I am not going to be at a deficit, might as well try to build more muscle, right?

Instead of beating ourselves up, why don't we build ourselves up?

My plan is just like today, I got up at 4am did 45 min cardio so that I do not go over at a carry in tonight. but your plan has merit.

Sounds like a good plan to me.

I too have been frustrated lately with the whole weightloss thing.

I plan on enjoying my holidays and HOPEFULLY maintaining where I am right now - if I gain oh well crap happens. I refuse to let it get me down, I can always fix it.

Sounds like you've found something to work for you.

I'm going to do my best to maintain between now and my next weigh-in (next Thursday).
