Not eating enough calories

Hi All,

I am new to myfitnesspal this is my second day using it so still trying to figure it all out. I think a lot of my issue with not being able to loose weight is my nutrition and not eating enough through out the day. I have lost 24lbs but have recently plateaued and have stayed the same weight for the past few months. I am exercising enough and have a balance of cardio and restistance training I think it is more my nutrition. I seem to eat the same thing each day and I am getting sick of it and would like mix it up a little without choosing the wrong foods.

Any tips or suggestions? What kind of meals and snacks do you eat each day?

Thanks! :-)

Good job on losing the first 24lbs!

Hard to know what to advise since we can't see your diary, don't know your calorie goal or what foods you've been eating.

I would say that if you're set at the standard 1200 cals that MFP gives most of us, you need to eat more - especially with your weight loss - your body has changed, so your caloric needs likely have as well.

Awesome link that lasmit4477 posted - it's the plan I follow and it's working great for me, and a lot of other MFP folks as well. Check i out, use the tools in the links in the topic and run your numbers through - very helpful for setting your goals, calories, macros.
