To be honest, hun, I think you need to eat more. You need to up your calorie goal.

If you want, check out this link by MFPer Heliotsdan - http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12

It'll give you a detailed walkthrough (with pictures even) on finding your TDEE and calculating what you should be eating.

Also, if you are worried about the calorie intake, I also suggest you read this thread that has numerous people who met their goals and are maintaining. Some for years and they also provide their calorie intake and how often they work out.

And if you are looking for foods to help with upping your calorie intake, I suggest checking this out:

  • So how do I calculate exactly how many cals etc I really should eat.

It gives instructions on how to figure it out. :) If you still can't figure it out, PM me and I'll get your #s :D

If you read the whole thing to the bottom and open the link Joylia gave you in another Window so you can have them side-by-side (if you don't know how to do that, ask. I will assume you are computer friendly otherwise) and read the instruction HelloitsDan gives.

Incidentally, I did this at the start of December before I realzied I would be seriously limited in my workout regimine as the month progressed. I have not been to the gym but 1 time in two weeks now. I have been watching my colories closely (fearful the increase would make me gain) and weighed this morning for the 3rd time this month. I was down a half lb from a week and a half ago... NO GYM, INCREASED CALORIES, It works. Give it a try for at least a month. I went up from 1200 to 1700 calories a day. If I were weorking out this last month as I would normally, I would have lost to my goal weight by NYE without a problem.
  • wow according to the ratio I should be at 1700 cals a day, I almost feel like that is a lot!
  • Hi Krystal yes you can get below 200, it just takes hard work, determination and time. I am 53 and also a cancer survivor of just a little over 2 years. I am doing fine today for the most part. This summer I weighed 204 pounds one day and had had enough if it, told myself I was gonna do whatever it took to lose the extra weight and I have, today I now weigh 169 and by summer of 2013 I'm gonna be down to 135.

The first thing you have to do is believe you can do it, get rid of all your negative thinking, start believing in yourself, yes it's gonna be frustrating but in the end you will succeed. It's only food, let go of your dependency on it, replace it with exercise, just move as much as you can. Eat less, eat fruits, vegtables, foods low in fat, you'll see results in a few weeks, you just have to take that first step and really want to be thinner, nothing will get in your way once you make up your mind.

From the looks of your dairy you need to be eating more. You aren't eating back any your exercise calories. I only looked at this week but if that is the norm for you, you aren't even eating 1000 calories/day. You should be eating close to your target calorie goal even after exercise.

Use road map like Joylia says. I noticed that on Tuesday you eat around 1300 calories and used 1100 cals in exercise. This means that all your body got for that day was 200 cals. Most other days are similar. You will make yourself ill long term.

It is easy to eat more. You can use avacado, nuts, peanut butter and 0% greek yoghurt to bump up cals with small portions for instance.
  • Ok I will definitely make an effort to eat more, I just feel like if I do I am going to gain and the 20 lbs was in 70 days. I know thats a huge accomplishment, I am just so tired of being fat! Not to be all emo girl but I really hate the way I look. i will start focusing on more fruits veggies etc.
