Today marks day zero of the apocalypse. There are plenty of regular people around, most of them look scared. Some of the don't seem to know who to trust. Plenty of locked doors and wild gun shots. I didn't want to go out, but I figured better get some supplies now. There are so many screams. No one even questions why I am carrying a machete with me.

At the grocery store there were two zombies inside. I saw them down the isle. They are not fast, but these f'ers aren't slow either. I was able to decapitate one while the other was busy trying to what I can only guess is 'run' after another person in the store. Funny thing, the jaw and eyes were still looking at me and snapping even as the head just lay there on the ground. One swift swing opened up the head and spilled brains on to the boxes on the nearby shelf. I better start carrying a hammer for instances like this. Sharpening my machete will get old quick.

I need to meet up with a group/team. More safety in numbers. Anyone on my FL still alive... well normal and alive, any suggestions for a safe place for us all to meet? I am guessing zombies can't really read these posts.

    Day one... I see the army and national guard trucks all around now. I don't know if they are actively looking for zombies and hunting or setting up any kind of perimeter. They just keep coming on the loud speakers and telling people to lock their doors and stay in doors. Seriously, why not just tell people to be careful and NOT GET BIT.

    Day 3/4 - Yesterday I decided to try and get some more supplies, water purifier cartridges and few odds and ends. Electricity will probably be an issue, so I am going to go look for some solar panel chargers.

    Day 3, I am a tired, non caffeinated zombie. I have just had my first taste of caffeine - and my body is starting to reject the virus. My sense of caring about anything at all is still gone, and all I can think about is lifting weights and playing Skyrim. I need to find a steady supply of this caffeine stuff, I fear without it, i can not continue with my elaborate day of not giving a duck.
