Keep on keepin on through the holidays!

Holiday season is upon us...this morning at breakfast, I decided to not give myself a "pass" regarding food and exercise. Pool is closed, but I'll figure something else out! I'm packing my own food and snacks to take with me, hopefully that will help. I'm going to avoid the mindless snacking and eating by continuing to log EVERY bite that goes into my mouth! Who is with me?!?!

I'm with you! I am committing to enjoying my family and friends and the moment. I plan on reminding myself of how hard I've worked and not undo it with food that just leaves me feeling bloated and lethargic. I'd rather have the energy and positive mental state to be fully present with my kids. Plus! I finally like how I look in pictures. I don't want to undo that! I'm with you! We've got this!!

Just had oatmeal, which leaves me gloriously full. Off to a good start!

I am with you too! I ate oatmeal for breakfast and will try to stay on track over the next 4 days. I agree.....if I log EVERYTHING it might keep me accountable. Also, some foods are hard to get calories for (like casseroles made by others) so might be easier for me to just not eat that stuff. I hope to drink as much water as I can to keep me filling full.

I'm not letting myself go over my calories until Christmas. However, I'm having family over for Christmas and I'm not worrying about calories for it. :) But until then I will continue to exercise and eat healthy! ^_^ Oh, and even though I'm not worried about calories for christmas, the ONLY thing that is going to be unhealthy on Christmas is the Sugar Cookies I'm making, but everything else is really good for you! ^_^

I'm going to try to keep on track over the next few days. I'll be logging everything as usual and will try keeping away from the prawn cocktail, mince pies and Christmas pudding. I have earmarked a slice of Christmas cake though for Christmas day, but it will only be a small slice.

I really love this perspective! Really speaks to my mindfulness and meditation :)

I just had bacon and eggs...toast, and half an orange. That said, I'll still be under my calorie goal for the day. I'm not going to worry about anything on Christmas...I'm going to enjoy myself. I'll probably be right around maintenance calories...maybe a little more on Christmas day...and I'm not worried about it. One day of cutting loose doesn't undo what I've done. I did the same at Thanksgiving and I still lost a pound that week.

Definitely with you! Don't want to screw up the past few months' progress with the holidays. Held my own on Thanksgiving and will do the same for Christmas. :D

I'm in. Thanksgiving and the days surrounding it really messed me up. I let too many carbs and sugars sneak back in and the cravings really got me.

Christmas dinner this year is going to be all about the ham and turkey. I don't want to deal with the aftermath of the side dishes.
