Getting your S/O on board

Ok, so I am ready for this lifestyle change. I am ready to start eating better and make informed decisions about what I put in my body. More of a holistic approach to things.

My question is though, how do I get my boyfriend on board too. Now, I don't want to shove my decisions down his throat or make him eat anything he doesn't want to. At the same time I do not want to be eating a salad and some chicken while he chows down on a bacon blast pizza!

He is a hunter and spends a lot of time outdoors so he really likes his heavy, filling meals. Red meat and potatoes type of man. Oh, and whatever junk food starchy nonsense he can get his hands on.

Any tips?

I lost my first stone without calories counting, by eating whole food and small portions during the day, then eating what I would normally eat in the evening, but less, and trying to make my plate 50% salad or veg. For me, a lot was about changing portion size, eating slowly and cutting empty snacking calories. This may not help with pizza based meals ;-) but most other meals you can shift your balance of food and quantity without completely changing your joint diet. Good luck! Oh, and 20 min plus core strength yoga whether I felt like it not...
