Hi all. My name is Alicia and I'm 27 years old. I am 5'9" and currently around 194 lbs. This is the heaviest I've been, this past year I gained 20lbs after I lost my job and began eating every second of the day. I am a huge yo yo dieter. I have been on MFP for almost a year, and have good 3 weeks spurts...then FAIL. I do this often it seems. I can't get the hang of eating healthy, even though I KNOW I feel better when I do it. I still have fat brain. I have never been comfortable with myself, and I really would love to be. I managed to lose about 15 lbs but gained almost all of it back in the last couple months My weaknesses are snacky foods like chips. Seriously. I love me some chips. I really would like to lose about 30-40 lbs, and I am on a roll again! Day 4 going strong! I would love some new friends for support and encouragement. I am on MFP every day and comment regularly! Good luck to everyone on their journeys!

Hey Alicia!
I see a lot of posts like these, on "yo-yo dieting." I'm sure you'll make some good friends here that will keep you motivated and eating healthy! And just remember, a little cheat snack here and there isn't always bad. C;
Anyways, I'm Ashley. You can add me if you'd like.0 -
Hey Alicia.. My name is Brian. I can definitely relate to your struggles. I'm either all in or all out... and I love chips! I'm about a week in and determined to change my eating habits permanently! Feel free to add me if you would like. Btw... I agree completely with the advice in the other post. It's ok to have some chips every once in a while. That's helped me a lot. I buy a small bag and when its gone... its gone.0

Hi there!
I have ~60lbs to lose and I'm having the same problem.
When I first came here, I carefully watched my food and worked out every day. I finally lost 9lbs in a month. but then, I started to skip workout days, then allowed me to eat this or that crap (fatty carbs is my weakness... I just love pizza dough or pasta with butter.... T_T )... and now I'm back to my starting weight
I sent you a friend request. I hope we'll be able to help each other ;-)0 -
Hey my name is Lorenzo
I started a 90 day fitness and weight loss challenge about 3 weeks ago. I have already lost about 12lbs. I was introduced to the challenge by a friend that had done pretty well on it. She has lost of 25lbs since she has been on the challenge. What i like about it is that you are not alone. Its a great community of like minded people. I've found a new group of friends, dare i say family that really support each other in every way. If your interested in learning how I am doing it, i would love to share with any and all members. With the new year fast approaching now is the time to really get motivated and take action. I will succeed in 2013 in being the best i can be and you can too!0 -
Hi! I'm new here. I have struggled with my weight for years and I finally decided tonight to try an online support group since my family don't really seem to give a hoot. My biggest weakness is Butterfingers! Evil little bars of tasty goodness sent to tempt me into staying fat!0

Alicia,
That has been one of my biggest problems as well...yo-yo dieting. I can never stay a normal weight and it makes me never want to buy clothes due to the fact that at some point it will either be too tight or too loose on me. Hate that!0
