Need motivation

Hi everybody! I'm 18, 5'11' male, and weight 207lb. I'm new to MFP, and I've recently made it a goal to lose the weight I've put on in college so far. I've tried eating healthier, and did a pretty good job tracking my calories with the MFP app for about three weeks, and then pretty much fell off and lost motivation. I managed to lose about 8 pounds in the three weeks that I did track my healthy eating, but after I stopped, I gained it right back. I need some tips to stay strong in the long run and some words of motivation. I know if I ate healthy and kept on track for a long period of time, I could replicate my shot lived success and keep the weight off for good, but staying motivated is hard. Also, if anyone is interested in being a motivation/weight-loss buddy, that would be pretty awesome!
