A New Way to Do Things

Hey! I'm new to MFP. I'm an athlete and have been so all my life. About 5 months ago they found a fracture in my spine that took me out of working out completely and college sports. 4 months of inactivity later... well i had a few extra pounds. Let's just leave it at that. My best friend suggested this site to help me eat better and be more conscious of the calories I was taking in. And first week down 2 pounds! So awesome and I feel great about getting back to the real me. Best part is I don't feel like I'm giving things up I'm just making better and more educated choices! What a great site! Thanks everyone, hope you find as much success as I'm seeing.
