New person, wish me luck!

Hi, I'm Johnny, I'm 41 and just starting out... Again. :)

I've lost weight before, but always gained it back and then some - I'm a real "roller-coaster" case. This time, I hope to make it stick!

About me: 6'4", currently 358.2#. Totally sedentary job. Goal weight: ~200. I've been there three times in the past, mostly through pretty extreme levels of excercise. The irony for me is, I'm actually capable of being very athletic - for years I put in 40-60 miles a day on my bicycle, plus a 75-100 mile ride every Saturday. When life cicumstances changed (had kids) and the extreme excercise became untenable, I gained back the 125# I lost on that run, plus 35 more. The previous "skinny" times were when I admittedly limited calories far too much, and as we all know, you just can't keep that up forever.

So, this time, I'm banking on the balanced approach. Sensible exercise, sensible calorie intake.

And of course, support. If your story is at all like mine, add me as a friend, and hopefully we can help each other out!

-Johnny

    Welcome Johnny!

The biggest thing to remember is that this is a lifestyle change. Nothing comes fast and easy. If you need any help, happy to give advice :)
