Hellooo, I'm 18 and live in the UK. I'm terrified of weighing myself incase i've gained weight, so until I notice some results I don't think I'll be able to update properly, (although i'll be measuring my waist, hips etc.). I really just want to be, feel and look healthy.
I am around 5'10 and currently weigh163 lbs -ish, which I'm not happy with, and hope to weigh around 125 lbs at some point. Sooner rather than later . A lot people say that I'm being ridiculous and shouldn't complain about my weight but I'm not happy with it and comments like these make me think its ok for the time being and *nom nom nom*... there I go munching away again only to feel bad about it later. I just want to lose the weight and get it over with, instead of always having this need to lose weight the back of my mind.
I could really use one or two friends here, that perhaps are doing this for a similar reason, so we can really support each other.
I hope to check in and update daily I really think it's going to work this time!
In any case, just wanted to say hello, also have an amazing Christmas and New year along with best wishes to whatever else you may be celebrating!! Have fun

Hello. In August of 2011 i was probably at my heaviest. I got on a shipping scale at work, and it was still going up at 254lbs, so I jumped off before the scale read my weight. I don't know exactly how heavy I was, except that it was over 250lbs.
These are things that made the biggest difference for me
1-Gave up alcohol and soda
2-log my food intake (drives making healthy choices, getting a little scale for weighing portions, etc)
3- Cardio on a regular basis. I used to walk a lot, but It was really boring for me, so i switched...but walking is fine.
4. Patience.
Good luck!0
