Hot Chocolate alternative

Seasons greetings!
I came up with a great hot chocolate that's very low cal and tastes as good as the real thing to me. And it's easy!!!
2 Ingredients:
Blue Diamond UNSWEET plain Almond Milk. I wouldn't recommend other brands because I've tasted them and they don't taste as good to me.
and Penzkey's Brand Hot Chocolate Mix which you can find with or without mint. I've found it available online if you can't find it at your store. It uses real sugar but is all natural with no additives.
Directions:
Use a cup and a half of the almond milk per rounded tablespoon of the hot chocolate mix. Heat in a saucepan/stir in the hot chocolate mix/serve.
Only 120 calories per mug! (60 calories from the chocolate mix and 60 calories from the almond milk.) Luckily I'm happy without marshmallows which would add more calories.
Great on a cold day and with the holidays and all.

yum -- that sounds delicious! I have been making Peppermint Mochas (Iite) like Starbucks this weekend for my family using coffee as base with added lite evaporated milk with cocoa, splenda, peppermint oil, a few marshmallows and a dusting of peppermint shavings.0

Why not just heat up Blue Diamond Chocolate Almond Milk? It is 120 calories per cup as well.
Or you could buy the unsweetened version at 45 calories per cup and then sweeten it with honey or xylitol or whatever you want and you have pretty much full control over sweetness and calories.0 -
Hehehe... I heart you so much!!!0 -

I make my hot cocoa using Silk 30 calorie Almond milk, 2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder, and 1 stevia.

Hershey's cocoa powder has the recipe on the side of their container. Instead of milk and sugar, I use the alternative above. Cooking it on the stove is AMAZING -- so creamy and delicious!0
