How about some Christmas cheer? Would love to hear how people have given this holiday season.
I have a great starter story...
Yesterday while watching football a friend who is a struggling single dad was telling us about how his lovely 7 year old daughter really wanted an American Girl Doll and how he couldn't believe how much they cost. How he was going to start saving so he could get her one for Christmas next year....thank heavens he shared his story because I have two older daughters who have outgrown their American Girl Dolls and were looking for some lovely little ladies to give them to. So I went to talk to my girls and they decided which doll to give her and which clothes she would like the best. My friends little girl is getting exactly what she wanted for Christmas, oh that lovely man Santa is going to deliver for this little girl, and I think it meant more to my girls to be able to give it to her, they would give anything to see her lovely little face open her gift tomorrow.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Stories like this make me want to cry. No homo.

Personally I hate getting gifts, and I dislike giving gifts to adults (except SO) but love giving to children even more. A kids smile means more to me than anything at all, even PR's.
  • I enjoy giving to people who need a pick-me up. Though, it is usually best when they don't know who gave the gift to them.
