yay newbie!

yup im new! im really excited about getting involved with this website! i am hoping that i will reach my goal and even further than that. i have always turned to food to comfort myself and therefore gained 30lbs! then i had a child 15 months ago and i was 200lbs while prego. i was able to lose my baby weight pretty easily, but now it seems like i just cant lose anymore. my ultimate goal is to lose 40lbs. hopefully by june. is that realistic?
ive been on the site for only a couple days and ive noticed that it really makes you stop and think before you put something in your mouth! (im never eating another alomond again!) i luv it! im hoping that i can get into a healty routine and healthy weight, not only for myself but for my family. i cant wait to get motivated and inspired by all of you! thx in advance!

40 pounds by June is not a healthy goal. And you are not morbidly obese, according to your profile, so while you may lose a couple pounds a week for the first couple weeks (or maybe 4-5 the first week), expect more like one pound losses per week.
