EggNog
Is anyone making fresh EggNog today or tomorrow? I'm going to be making a batch tonight, I'm just having a hard time deciding if I should make the raw or cooked version.
If you do make your own egg nog, tell me what you do (raw or cooked) and why?
Happy Holidays everyone!

If you were going to make the raw version, it should have been spiked about 3 weeks ago to give the alcohol time to kill bacteria in the eggs.

I would suggest cooked at this point to be safe!0 -
i haven't made it in years. (it makes me stupid.. i think it's a combination of the extra sugar and rum and frangelico that pushes me over the edge-it's really NOT that much alcohol but what a kick!) but I always used EGGS, raw and in date. why? cos that's the recipe I had..0
