Confused

If my bmr is 1440, and my TDEE is 2500, and I'm eating At 1900, I don't feel like I'm burning 460 calories a day to get to that number and i sure as hell am not burning 1100 calories to get to 2500 which is my TDEE! I am definitely missing something here, can someone explain?

BMR is the amount of calories you'd burn if you stayed in bed all day and didn't eat. It's the energy required to keep your body alive, keep blood flowing, brain functioning, lungs breather, brain thinking, etc. TDEE includes the BMR and all the calories burned walking around, eating, moving your arms, legs, etc, and even exercise. Keeping an adult human body alive and moving requires a lot of energy.

Think of your body as a factory. Just to turn on the lights and heat you need to eat your BMR. If you start to turn on machines to do work and make stuff you need more fuel. So to run the heat, lights, and machinery you need to fuel your TDEE. If you eat/input more energy than you need to do all the stuff you do/make, the factory will store it in batteries (fat).

Did you get up out of bed and do anything?

If your TDEE is 2,500, you are burning 2,500 a day.

How did you come up with your TDEE?

How did you come up with your TDEE?

    Using bf%

And yes, of course, I exercise for an hour at least everyday
