Right now, I weight 145.6 and I am 5.5 1/2 inches. My goal weight is 130-135.
I put my goal weight of 130 into the calculator and to maintain that weight is 1400 calories. So, would it be safe to say that I could eat that amount of calories per day until I reach goal? Or am I way off base.
I apologize if this topic has been discussed before.

That is actually a common approach to weight lose: Eat at your goal weight. I like to do that on days where I want to go over calorie goal but it's not my free day. I don't know too much about how it works, though, someone else will be better able to answer that!0

Sometimes you have to mess around with your intake until you find a # that works for you. I am close in height and weighed both of your lbs at some point along my journey. 1400 for me would have resulted in slow & steady loss.0

however you get to a caloric deficit and can be comfortable is what will work best
if 1400 cals a day is a deficit for you, then you will lose weight
good luck0
