What kind of cookies were they? Did your hippy son in law bring them over?

Maybe it's the gluten in the cooking and not carbohydrate in general. You need carbohydrate to survive and it's in most foods.

I took a little look at your diary, maybe it is the sugar overload?

You seem to take in a lot of sugar?

You also seem to eat a lot of bread and meat. But not very many veggies. Your sodium seems really high on average.

There is a time and a place for everything and if it was meant as a joke my question would be in a form of a joke. Now as far as my sugar intake sometimes when i do eat fruits and vegetables my sugar is still high that is how mfp have thier settings.

Except your sugar isn't coming from fruits or vegetables.

You should probably go see a doctor. Even if someone has "similar" symptoms, it is always best to get a medical professional's opinion - especially if there is a family history.

It was a joke. It wasn't a disrespect. We don't know you and we aren't going to go check everyone's profile for age just to make sure a joke is "plausible". Just let it go and make an appointment with your physician to get yourself checked out.

Are you aware of Hyperglycemia and Hypoglycemia? I have Hypoglycemia (not diabetes) and it is similar to the symptoms you are describing. I just noticed you have diabetes. It could be that the current medications you are on are not regulating your blood sugar properly. My father has diabetes, and he was told not to eat desserts like cookies because it can cause such a spike in sugars.

Your profile says you have diabetes so why are you eating so much sugary crap like cookies, bars and ice cream? Surely you'd know that's a bad thing to do, more veggies would be better so your insulin doesn't spike so much. I realise sugar itself won't hurt but you have had a few very high calorie days in the last week or so. 3200 and 2600 seems a lot but if that is how many you are allowed then all good I guess.

Ok editited to say it says in runs your family.

Wait..it says her family has diabetes, cancer and high blood pressure.

And if you have a history of high blood pressure..shouldn't you be watching your sodium intake as well as your sugar intake?

Definitely seek out a physician to talk to him/her about your health.

Sounds like a sugar overload, not a carb overload, necessarily.....I've had that feeling too, if I eat or drink something with too much sugar, I will feel funny and have to drink a lot of water to flush out a bit.

Sometimes, sugary cakes give me that feeling. Glad I'm not a sugarbaby, LOL.

Just wondering, how many cookies did you eat? (not asking for a calorie count, just wondering because you may be able to eat cookies, you just have to limit yourself). And if you have been eating a low-sugar diet, your body could have felt a bit shocked by the sugar spike, perhaps :-)

Hey - you asked for comments. Don't get so high and mighty. You didn't say how old you were to begin with, and most ppl here aren't trying to be smartalecky. Carbs are in most everything you eat, so it is unlikely the carbs in the cookies did it - most likely too much sugar intake. And if it isn't the first time you've made cookies, I doubt it is the cookies carbs either. I would ask if you have been checked for any insulin issues, but don't want a slap either.
