How do you count carbs Do yo subtract, From like the protein in the food really confused here,

Huh? Why would you subtract it from the protein?
Some people like to monitor "net carbs" which is carbs minus fibre.
Salt is basically sodium, you can add that into the things you track in your diary.0 -

In your diary, select carbs as one of the nutrients to track. Do the same for sodium. Then, log your food in MFP and it will count them for you.0 -
If you log all your food, MFP does all this for you. I do look at my nutrient values every day, especially, vitamins, sugar, sodium, and fiber. I keep a very rough eye on carbs, fat and protein, but mostly I just eat unprocessed food and stay at my calorie level.0
