Nike Fuelband question

Don't hate on me...I know there are a gazillion postings about the Fuelband, but I haven't found the answer I need....
I just got a Fuelband as a gift and now I am wondering how to "translate" the calories into my MFP log each day.
Should I set my MFP settings to "sedentary" and then enter the calories from the Fuelband as my exercise calories for the day? Is there a magic formula that works with my BMR and the calorie-burned count?
Fuelband users...help me out! How do YOU log it?

Hi! My understanding is that the fuelband calories are based on your movement and don't include those based on your BMR. Don't know how accurate the calories are, but hey, think almost every cal calculator is a guesstimate. So, I think your suggested strategy - figuring sedentary and adding fuelband calories as exercise calories is a good place to start. Personally, I only use calories from "real exercise" as exercise calories - walking the dog, jogging on the treadmill. But try to get 3k for fuel points everyday to up my general calorie expenditure.

    Hope this is helpful!
