    I never return gifts. When someone gives me something, I truly believe it is the thought that matters most. So what if it is not my color - it is his color. So what if I would have used the money on something else - I now have a beautiful gift that I would not have had if it was left up to me.

    Doesn't it make u feel great when someone is wearing or using your gift? I like to make the people in my life feel great. If that means I wear the hand knitted sweater from Auntie Emma, so be it! When she sees me in it, she glows. If that means, I wear that über tiny bit of Victoria Secret lace from someone special, so be it. When he sees me in it, he grows ... Um ... I mean he glows.

    Wear that ring girlfriend. Wear it on the finger he bought it for and show him how important he is to you.

    Say this with big doe eyes. You'll get the reassurance you need, and he'll feel all manly and valued. It worked for me- my now husband bought me a diamond ring when we'd only been dating for a month, and a diamond tennis bracelet when we'd only been dating for a week.
