I am not new...

However, I have been gone from the site a very long time and my weight and health are showing the lack of a stable healthy eating environment and an active lifestyle.

I need all the help and motivation I can get. Not only to lose the NEW weight but to continue and lose the OLD weight as well.

    Hi Brile, I am in the same situation as you. I started logging my food today, did all my shopping and threw away some foods that should not be in my house! Here's to a good week!
  • Thanks! My living situation is complicated but thanks to a new job I will have a more set schedule to control WHEN and how much I eat. I have been logging the last day or so, but am still in the "not so healthy" attitude....but I am wanting to SEE the impact of what I am eating on a "normal" basis.... so far...it's been eye opening.

    Brile, good luck to you, reading you profile I can sense how stressed you are and how willing you are to make a difference with your life! Good for you for coming here and asking for the support you need!! The good thing is that you can always go out for a walk, gets you out of the house for a few and continue to stay healthy!!

  • Thank you! I have been contemplating just that....walking... I work an odd shift and haven't tried my normal workouts. However, I get an hour lunch which with me packing them that is lots of time... so I can use the extra time for a little walk around the hospital.

    don't contemplate....plan and do! Contemplating is like being in nuetral....get your SELF on DRIVE and get your SELF out of the rut that you're in. Plan, Plan, Plan and there's nothing else but SUCCESS!

    You're life will turn around once your mind does!!

    I'm training for a half marathon and I'm 41....better now than never!!

    Brile- Good for you for wanting to make this change, and for being here! You definitely can do this! And I have to say, I LOVE your avatar- thank you for the SO TRUE message and the laugh this morning! It's wonderful.

    Hang in there- stay consistent, make the kinds of changes that are a part of your life, that you can live with long term, don't overwhelm yourself with drastically changing everything in the first 5 minutes, and you WILL see the results you want to, and probably sooner than you realize. Not just weight, but stamina, skin health, energy, and even peace!
