I don’t know If you’ve seen this before (it was published in July), but I find it really interesting. How does your BMI measure against the national and world averages?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-18770328
According to the study, the country with “fattest” population for males of my age group is Micronesia with an average BMI of 32.8. The US stands sixth at 28.64, the UK is 15th at 27.62, and Mexico (where I’m from) is 13th at 27.7. It turns out I’m at a higher BMI than 66% of males in my age group worldwide and lower than 66% in my country. It’s not surprising that I’ve had people telling me I am getting “too thin” when I am definitely still overweight.
Someone posted a few days ago that “fat” is the new normal; and the numbers definitely support that notion. It’s no wonder that the health and human costs of things like diabetes and cardiovascular disease are getting so depressingly high. The problem is very serious in Mexico, and I’m pretty sure it is at least as bad in the US.
Anyway, I’m still an optimist. I know that health authorities in my country are at least aware of the problem and that they are trying to implement public policies to fix it. Besides, health and fitness seem to be on top of people’s minds all the time. Perhaps we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

This is a fun calculator. It definitely challenges your perceptions of yourself. I've always considered myself average (not fat, not skinny). It's strange to think that our definitions of those words could have changed so much in such a short amount of time.

Interesting, but kinda hard to believe - I see so many people every day that are a lot fitter/thinner than me - would be kinda strange that I run into so many of the 21% people of the world who have a lower BMI than me - are they all crowded around me?
EDIT: @ Sarauk - BMI calculation doesn´t work for people who are really fit & muscular - since it goes by weight, and muscles weigh more than fat etc... - from your picture it seems that you are very fit and have little body fat.0
