New, but almost to my goal! Looking for friends!

Hi! I'm Rose! I'm new here, well sort of! I made my account a month or two ago but I haven't really used it until now. I was using another calorie counting app on my phone, but once I started playing around with this one, I liked it better! Plus it syncs with my FitBit One that I just got for Christmas!

Anyway, I'm 24 and I'm also a first year law student. I may be new to MFP, but I've been slowly losing weight for the past 3 1/2 years and I'm now almost to my goal! 3 1/2 years ago, I started out at 180 pounds and now I'm just under 140. It's been an amazing journey so far, and I'm currently only about 12 ish pounds from my goal! Other than the weight loss, I'd love to become a better runner (since I stink at it now). My next goal is to attempt to compete in a local triathlon competition, something I never thought I'd do! (I used to be a swimmer and swam for years growing up, so the portion that would require the most work for me is the running portion.)

I'd love to make some new friends on here! And if anyone is interested and wants to see some before and after pics of my progress so far, I'll be glad to share! Just let me know! :D

    Also, in my original post, when I said I've been slowly losing weight for the past 3 1/2 years...I meant 2 1/2 haha! Whoops! Clearly my math skills failed there lol!
