I am a big cross trainer type of person. I like to do all different types of cardio exercises. I'm a big hiker and getting ready for the spring season here in Virginia. Well the trails are covered and I missed the mountain so I went to an area around my house, rural, and decided I will run to see if i can catch the mountains. lol It was soooooooooo pretty outside that I kept on running and running. After my run, I took the car to see how far I ran and it was 3.5 miles!!!! This was with rolling hills. I kept looking at the hill and saying to myself oh i am not going to make it...........and it ended up with no problem. I stil had a 12 min. mile pace, which is slow but shoot I was not running to full capacity. All my hard work is finally paying off!!! I would mind running more but I really do like to do other things!!

Yeah, it's so great when you see that you're getting in shape, huh?!?!:drinker: I've noticed that on this 3 mile trail we have here, I'm running it without walking or getting tired now. It just surprised me that I finally got back into shape! Congrats to you!!!

If a 12 minute mile is slow than I must be crawling  It takes me 15 minutes to jog a mile.

    Great job!
