Meditation as part of workout routine?

I've recently been having heart issues (PAC irregular heart beat) and stress can be a cause of it. I don't feel stressed but maybe I am subconsciously? So I was considering trying to incorporate meditation into my daily workout routine. Does anyone else do this? I was wondering if others have had luck making it part of their routine either before a work out (running is typically mine) or afterwards as part of the cool down?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I LOVE meditation - I honestly think it does help with the fitness routine for a couple of reasons:
a) I am in a better frame of mind so I am less likely to eat my emotions -
b) It makes me feel energised which helps me with the urge to exercise.
I choose to use the hemi-sync or theta waves - either music or guided meditation0
