Anybody care to make a ftiness wager/resolution??

Ok, so I haven't been on MFP for so long that I had trouble logging in. I made my way over this evening from pinterest after looking at "fitness inspiration" by way of beautiful people. Then I got sad...
Then I remembered that I was going to try this whole new years resolution thing to get off to the right start. I am having a really hard time, mostly because I am lazy. I know, that might make several people turn away, but hear me out. I have always been into sports, then I joined the Navy where I had access to a gym and was required to be evaluted every six months. I was a member of the YMCA which has awesome childcare so you can workout without the worry. I also played on my ships soccer team. Overall I was healthy even if I still was fighting against my actual weight . I am out of the Navy (honorably) now and living in a small town. The option of childcare is not available if I were to got to the one gym witihn 50 minutes of me. My only option is to do home workouts/walk or run with the kiddos.
To put it simply, I cannot motivate myself to do that. I love gym workouts and the thought of doing something boring like walking saps all of my motivation. I have always been competetive, which is why I thought some sort of wager might get me going.
I am open to suggestions. Anybody who is interested please respond or message me. I am about 50 minutes or so from Kansas City and I get to the city at least once a week for those who may be close.

Yes. I do. But on the computer I can simply ignore you or not log on. Unless you are going to pop up at my door, it is unlikely to work. Not that I am trying to be pessimistic. I just know what has not helped in the past and I really am hoping that this time will be different...
I should add that it is nice that you are here in the motivation section helping people out. Thats what I like about MFP0 -
Be safe about if but maybe fond a text buddy if you can't find a few friends.0

Thank you, that is also a good idea. I might have to try that.0

If you need wagers and other BS you simply don't want it bad enough.0

While I am glad that you are your "own inspiration", I am not so fortunate. Why come and dump on someone trying to find what motivates them? Why even stop here? I'm sure I am not the only one struggling with motivation, hence the presence of a motivation section. . .0

Motivation is tough! I find that I can do a 20 minute video like Julia Michael's 30 day shred with the kids around, and that helps. But if you have a phone or alarm maybe you can set an alarm for 'workout time' and then do something, even if it's dancing to music on your MP3 player while the kids watch Blue's Clues.
Good luck! Feel free to friend me if you think you'd check on MFP.0
