Does what I do at work count as exercise?

I work in retail, so I'm constantly on my feet, walking around lifting heavy things for 8 hours. Surely that's gotta count for something! How would I count that as exercise in my food log?

    No.
But set yourself as 'lightly active' on the site.

any calories you burn count for your body. but I wouldn't try and log it as exercise per se. go to fat2fitradio.com freedieting.com or fitnessfrog.com and use the calculator on one of these sites for daily calorie allotment. you can put in lightly active or moderately active along with height, weight, gender, age. The calculator will give you a recommended calorie allowance figuring in your lifestyle/activity level. IMO, exercise log should be reserved for weight training or cardio activities. anything else above your normal daily activity is just a 'bonus' for the log. some will disagree with me, but this approach has been useful for me.
