Weight Loss: Some Motivation Needed?

I'm Cassandra. I an 22 and need to lose like 45-50lbs to even be in a healthy weight range.

Now I have no problem working out or eating right. I just lose my motivation very easily. My family doesn't exactly have the best eating habits. I have a crappy minimum wage job so I live at home with my mom and I have a hard time getting her to buy the healthy food. So the food we do have I end up eating.

I get lazy pretty easily so I get the urge to sit at the computer instead of working out.

Motivation is my biggest problem

Hey!!! Girl, I feel ya! I'm near my finish line now, but when I started out, I was a good 35 pounds overweight. I had some of the same problems as you: my family's eating habits were terrible (but with my family, it's eating out; my family LOVES eating out, like ALL THE TIME), and I lost motivation very easily, and tons of other issues as well lol!

But girl, the most important lesson I learned is to NEVER GIVE UP! Every small healthy choice counts. It takes TIME for all of those choices to add up, but if you keep at it, I promise they will! And as for exercise, I've found that on those days when I'm feeling super unmotivated and lazy, I can talk myself into exercising if I tell myself that I'll only do a short and easy one lol. It may not burn tons of calories, but those little short and easy days start adding up over time! Plus, a half hour comfortable walk is better than nothing!

Anyway, good luck and keep at it! If ya ever need some more motivation or just want a friend on here to talk to, message me! :D
