Snacking; The After Dark Special

Hey all!
I'm positive this has been covered numerous times before, so please don't pull out the freshly sharpened pitchforks! :flowerforyou:
Lately I've started on adderall (this plays a small point in the matter) so come evening, I'm honestly not hungry. That means my snacking on literally anything that looks or smells good is pure...nothing. I'm not sure what it's fueled by and most of the things I'm eating don't even register in my mind. Now I know my snacking is definitely not on binge or BED level, but I'm unhappy with it all the same.
I honestly would love some coping measures or something, I know it's good to do something productive, but how do you all deal with it?
Thanks so much for reading and the wonderful advice that'll follow! (I sound like a butt kisser, yes!)

I am a huge snacker, so in an attempt to start eating healthier, I try to limit myself to one "bad" snack a day. If I feel the urge to snack beyond that, I'll eat fruit so that I'm still getting the sweetness without the hundreds of calories.0

I honestly wish I liked fruit sometimes! I just...has never appealed to me unless it's a banana or apples.0 -
I'm going through the same thing...disgusted with myself. I have great days, complete my diary after dinner, and go on the hunt for more...typically junk! And then the guilt that ALWAYS follows just makes it worse.
I think part of my issue with this is I try to just not have anything after dinner...and cutting myself off completely makes me want it more. My new strategy is going to be budgeting for a "treat" at night, fitting it into my calories for the day, and enjoying it with no guilt. If I've already accounted for it, no reason to feel like I'm doing something bad.
And as much as I love fruit, it sometimes just doesn't cut it. Although, some peanut or almond butter on apples and bananas is good.
Someone recommended hot tea at night...takes time to finish, and maybe having something sweet with it would help finish off the night but not ruin the whole day.0
