hottest day in 100 years in Rio de Janeiro

Yesterday was the hottest temperature recorded in Rio de Janeiro. The thermometers marked 43 degrees celcius, with a wind chill of 50 degrees.
The gym was empty, almost impossible to do with bodybuilding that temperature.

Holy crap! I am glad I am in Canada.. we have lots of snow falling right now and it's about -4°C and waiting up to 25cm of snow.. YAY!
I don't like hot weather... even though I like to take a trip to the Caribbean once in a while...

God that's hot! I went hiking in the grand canyon in may and in the canyon was 114 degrees F, at least now it's snowing and cold in NJ

That's not a "wind chill" that's a heat index. As I'm sure the relative humidity was pretty high....

In any regard, that has been our summers lately... only our actual tempurature has been fairly close to 50C at the peak of our summers... usually around 45-47.
