Wanting to loose fat/weight quickly (because I tend to lose focus when I don't see results!) Information on best route? Don't mind working hard to get it---HOWEVER, naturally large chested and CANNOT run and jumping jacks are out. Husband and I were just asked to be prostaffers for a hunting show and would like to take off as much as I can before the Spring hunting season, since I will now be on camera. DO NOT WANT SAGGY SKIN ISSUES! All other suggestions fire away!

Great! Thanks! I need a lot of help in stomach too. Seems like once I hit 40 it all started heading to that one spot! UGH! Thanks again for your help.0

About 1-2 lbs per week is about the fastest you will lose weight in a healthy sustainable manner. Note that in the long run, this will be faster than sitting around dilly-dallying and trying to find a quick fix.0

If you don't want saggy skin, do it slow. If you lose the weight fast you'll be left with extra skin. Eat clean (or at leas 80% of the time), high protein, lower carbs, sensible diet - eat at a small deficit (no more than 500 calories/day) and workout 1 hour 4-5 times a week (combo cardio/strength). The fat/weight will come off but you need to be patient. I'm sorry I have no magic fixes for you, but there is none.0

1-2 a week is totally acceptable. Have 16 weeks still spring turkey season. If I can get a routine going on how best to workout/lift I should be able to do a lot in that time frame. Just not sure how best to attack it?????? Body use to respond well -- but it appears it has gotten a little more hateful over the years! lol Too much yo-yo dieting0

This.
And try to find a moderate deficit based on your TDEE. Stick with it, be patient, and measure yourself as well. The scale is not always the best way to measure progress. And if you are really concerned about loose skin, slower weight loss will give you much better results than rapid weight loss will.
I like this site for figuring out BMR and TDEE http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/0 -

I like the lifting program called New Rules of Lifting for Women. The book is full of good info, and the workout program inside is very detailed and will give you something to focus on.

Agree with what everyone has said- would like to expound on busty women running.
There are generally 2 things wrong when I hear a busty woman say she "can't" run- first, you have the wrong bra and second, you have bad running form. Obviously, a great bra keeps everything tight. I'm old-school and a little ghetto, so I prefer the double-bra method that I started using in HS (before there were so many good sports bra options) so I wear a regular underwire with a (tight!) compression type bra on top. More hip women just buy good bras designed for larger-busted ladies for running. Always look for 'high-impact' bras. Medium or low-impact bras are worthless, IMO.
Second is your form- you're bouncing too much. There could be a couple explanations for this, but the most likely is that you're overstriding. Your movement should be fluid- if your footfall lands properly under your hips (not in front), and you have a slight forward lean, and you're landing on your mid-foot, bouncing is minimized. Everyone, not just busty ladies, should be aiming to do this, as excessive bounce is bad for your joints and wastes energy. You could be making some minor errors with your upper body as well. Check out the following short video for some corrections that could make all the difference:

That said, If you don't WANT to run, that's your prerogative- but if you do, you can. :bigsmile:0 -

Yes this is correct.

Also check out Jamie Eason's LiveFit Trainer. It has 12 weeks of meal plans and workouts. The meals are clean and there is a lot of strength training. In the first phase (3 weeks) I lost 5 inches.
