It's just a different meal timing/frequency that for some people, results in better dietary adherence.

Considering that I've had a bit of a problem with binge eating sometimes, the only way to recover from a bad episode for me is to just not eat for a while until I genuinely really need to. It sets my head straight.
  • Thanks to you both! I think with the tendency to binge eat is my issue too... I think that makes total sense as to why intermittent fasting appeals to me.

    Thanks!

If you have issues with binge eating I would be cautious about an IF approach. I would actually think it could make that behavior worse because you're essentially shortening your feed window and eating larger meals.
  • SideSteel - I can see that. What ways would be best to avoid binge eating?
