I love hummus--especially the spicy type. I was worried that since I relocated from a middlish small town in Ohio to a more rural town in Louisiana I wouldn't find any. I thought that I would have to go to a larger city to find it. I wasn't going to go out of my way to a big city for a dip, so I just resigned myself to missing it. One day I asked an employee at the grocer in my new small town if he stocked any hummus. Happily, he knew what it was and not only that they had some!
I used it instead of salad dressing for tossed salads and as a spread for sandwiches and crackers and I have made my own. Wonderful!
