Hi everyone, I'm 32 and 180lbs and would like to lose about 40 lbs., I've been overweight much of my life. I have a family that are all pretty thin and typically doesn't understand or support me and has put me on fad diets since i was 13 years old. (at the time I was not really overweight, just some baby fat 5 lbs, but over the years I began emotional/stress eating and gained alot. I really want to lose the weight for good, and I want to do it in a healthy way that lasts. I am a student and tend to spend a lot of time sitting. Trying to find ways to incorporate more activity into my routine, hiking and walking, and I love to dance! I'm trying to do a more whole-foods diet, with meats, and veg, and grain and limited processed foods. I do a lot of cooking and would love to swap recipes! I really want to feel more confident about myself and comfortable in my body! Looking for like-minded people for motivation and support.
