    when one of mine is accepted. I don't send many out, but it's usually to people that either really inspire me or that I have admired for their wisdom or personality from afar. When they accept, I am so happy!

    I honestly don't think I have ever denied one...I have deleted once I accepted when I learned a little about them, though!

    Usually being a recipient makes me happy because I figure someone has seen something I've posted that inspires them. But it is also a thrill when I have been inspired and sent a request and someone accepts. So yeah, BOTH! I love having friends on MFP to help me stay highly motivated.

    I like it more when someone I really respect on here accepts my FR because I rarely ask anyone and if they say yes I think great I'm going to learn lots from them! When someone asks me to be theirs I just wonder why they asked because usually they don't say why.

    I'm really neurotic and a few times when I've sent a friend request I get scared that I've offended them. Have sweats and everything.
