Bodybuilder Recognition in General

Hello All,
I'm not sure this is the right place for this but here goes anyway

I have noticed that there are a lot of people around me who seem surprised that I look the way that I do when they see me with a workout shirt or without a shirt at all. I get very positive feedback when they do notice, but it seems kind of weird to me. I definitely am not the biggest guy in the gym or anything, but have other body builders noticed that people don’t recognize them in a day-to-day situation or is this just me?

Thoughts?

    I don't go shirtless very often, so yea, when I do, I get noticed.
