New to Myfitnesspal...need some encouragment

Hi, I'm a 36yr. mom of a 7yr. old. I'm prior service but after having the lil one several years ago, i kinda blew up a bit. I started working out 2 years ago, when I tipped the scale at 229. I have been able to hover over 205, go back up to 212, then back down. I feel like an elevator going up and down every month. I was diagnosed with a Thyroid condition 6 years ago, so this battle with weight loss is on going. my first real goal is to get below 200, then work myself down to 180. Which is what i was when I found out I was pregnant. I'm looking for some new friends to help me not only stay on track but getting me to this goal. I'm very stubborn and a very picky eater. But i'm trying to change it. I'm currently at 209, but started working out last night. Looking foward to speaking with many of you.
