I just got the polar watch ( really really wanted one!!) Having second thoughts... The fit bit looks real cool, saw the video on the website...
Anyone doing insanity? I think the polar watch might have been the right choice for me, since I am trying the insanity videos...
your thoughts?

I'm doing Insanity and I use the polar ft and it works great for me.
Plus fit bit is more like a pedometer and wouldn't be good for intense cardio. I'll be getting a fitbit just to track my walking/running/stairs stats.0 -
Yeah..Fitbit isn't a HRM. it depends on what you are doing workout wise.0

POLAR, no question...hands down! FB is not an HRM and you definiately need an HRM for Insanity. I use both for my cardio...FB to track my steps and my Polar for my cals and Heart Rate. Good Luck!0

I have and use both. I use the HRM to log my calorie burn to the Fitbit site during the times I workout. The Fitbit will likely give you a bit low of a number.0

just work out. neither of these devices is going to increase the intensity of your exercise.0

Thanks everyone! I was starting to have second thoughts LOL0

Pretty sure her question wasn't about which device increased the intensity of her workout. Some people actually like to monitor their heart rate....some for medical reasons.0
