It really is, my friends.

Let's ignore how ridiculous I look in the pic.

http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2011/05/23/want-to-eat-an-entire-bowl-of-cookie-dough/

Just made this. First of all, SUPER easy to make.

Second of all..no, it does not taste *exactly* like real cookie dough (pretty sure that nothing on earth can taste as wonderful as real cookie dough and still be healthy)...HOWEVER, I still think it tastes really good, and I'm planning to eat it on graham crackers, so that will add a little sweetness and make them even better :)

The real test will come when I have my family and best friend try it tonight...I'm pretty much the least-picky eater on earth so I like almost anything, but we'll see what they say!

Based on the MFP recipe calculator and the ingredients I used (there's a little leeway, which you'll see if you look at the recipe), one serving (I'm saying that 1 batch makes 5 servings because I'm serving it to 5 of us tonight haha) is 224 calories :)

That looks amazing and if I could, I'd be making it RIGHT now. Or stealing yours to eat cause it's faster

How about we stop the lies and call this chocolate chip hummus? For the love of fck. It may be very good but it is not in any way, shape or form cookie dough.

    STOP THE LIES!

If this even tastes REMOTELY like cookie dough, I'm all over it, lol. Thanks, I'll try to get around to making it tonight.

Thank you! I tried it a while back and it tastes exactly like chick peas and chocolate chips, but then I added peanut butter. And it tasted exactly like chick peas, peanut butter and chocolate chips.

An almost-treat does not a treat make.

Also, fudge made with pumpkin puree. It's chocolate puke.

No, it HAS to be cookie dough. Whoever heard of hummus with chocolate chips? Bleh. Was going to walk to the store, but it's less than 20 degrees outside. Will have the husband pick up the ingredients on his way home from work. :)

I think adding oats definitely helps it taste less hummus-like..I only added 2 tablespoons but if I had added even a tablespoon more I think it would have been even better!

And to make it healthier, I used organic powdered peanut butter instead of normal peanut butter :)

GAAAAAAACK! Not only are you lying about making raw cookie dough but then you didn't even use peanut butter in your peanut butter "cookie dough". Just stop. Just stop. This has gone way too fcking far and I don't know how much more I can stand. You should rename this "healthy raw HUMMUS WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND PROCESSED PEANUT POWDER?!"

I didn't say you had to do the same. Use real peanut butter for all I care! I just chose not to.

Sounds like someone has a love for the real stuff. And maybe some withdrawals....

Almond flour makes a very good cookie dough, with truvia and yes, butter, add sugar free chocolate chips. Not very low calorie though, just low carb. Still, it's gotten me through some rough patches.

Feel free to try it sometime. Add eggs if you plan to bake it, it does make a great cookie.

Um, don't you think you are being a little dramatic? If you don't like the sound of it, don't eat it! It's not lying, its just an alternative to the the real deal.

By this I meant raw cookie dough sounded better than sweet hummis, lol. Though technically its not raw if using canned ingredients.

No. It's lying. And no, there's no such thing as being dramatic when it comes to fake cookie concoctions.

Its 224 cals / serve, why not just eat the cookie dough. That can't be much worse ( if artificial sweetners used)
