Hi there, I used to weigh 245 and up to a few weeks ago I was down to 145 (I'll be back there in a few weeks again). My tummy's not flat, there is lots of extra skin (due to being pregnant too). I was told that the only way mine will look the way I want is with surgery. You can see the top part of my six pack just not the lower part. Everyone is different, you might be fine. Keep working hard you'll get there. If you figure it out let me know.0

Some people do not have excess skin, though in most cases many people will. I haven't had an issue with excess skin so far, but I do expect for it to be an issue when I reach my goal weight.
Moisturize, lift weights and just hope for the best! It really depends on your body.
ETA: I've gone from 245 to 187 so far without loose skin. I'm 5'10".0 -
I have lost 60 lbs, slowly, and have no excess skin. Best of luck to you!0

Your young so your skin should bounce back, just will take some time.0

I've always had a belly. :-( When I was young I was skinny as a twig and always had a belly bump. Now in my 40's and two kids later, loosing the weight, but my belly won't get flat. Never had a flat belly though, so may be genetics for me? Same as my large birthing hips. lol actual bone, no joke.0

1st of all - good luck on your journey to a healthier body! i started off @ 212 myself & have lost 65 pounds over the last 21 months. Now i have the excess skin below my belly button - but honestly think it's from being pregnant. i'm only 5'2" & had two babies 13 months apart. They weren't big in the grand scheme of babies @ 7 lbs 10 oz & 8 lbs 5 oz - but for me being so short, there wasn't a whole lot of room for them to go except to stretch the skin out. i'm about to start working out with weights as i've seen others with GREAT results, so i'm hopeful that it will get better :-)
Edited to add: i didn't realize how young you were - i'm much older (39) so your skin is still young & you'll probably not have any issues so long as you lose weight gradually.0 -
I've lost about 65lbs ish and I've had 3 kids. I've still got a gut (still have about another 30lbs to go) so no issues with excess skin yet. But my neighbour had a gastric sleeve done in dec last year. She weighed 127kgs. 1 year later she weighs 68kgs. She looks fab (and I'm jealous as hell), but her stomach looks awful! It's all saggy and baggy. I say just go slowly and it should be ok0

my stomach is surprisingly resiliant. I so believe that it has a lot to genetics though. My butt and thighs are another story though lol0
