Easter Fitness Challenge March 15th

Happy Saturday!

We have a very happy Saturday in store - we're going down to San Antonio for a Cirque performance. Also going to San Antonio's only veggie restaurant for lunch. Really, SA is twice the size of Austin and only has the one veggie restaurant. Austin has about 5-6. Because of the driving involved today, I'm taking the day off. I just don't have time for the 90 minutes it takes (1 hour + drive time). I might sneak a walk in, but that's it. I may not even count calories today!

Yesterday was more elliptical.

    Today the sun is out and it's almost 40 degrees! (I know that might not sound that exciting, but it IS!)

    Today is spinning for an hour (60 minutes)
    and walking there and back (40 minutes)
    and abs for 20 minutes.

    well supposed to have done core fitness training this morning but back still feel not right yet so I think I will just write it off now till mon.

    Elliptical 35 mins didn't go too well either I did complete it but I got to 28 mins and just couldn't take a deep breath had to stop for a min and do some deep breathing has this ever happened to anyone else I suffer from mild asthma I have only ever had to take medication when I as pregnant as it doesn't bother me normally but I am thinking that perhaps with these intensive workouts that maybe I should go to my Doctor and see what they can offer.

    Meant to have gone for a walk also but have ran out of time I had to run some errands for my dad collecting some pvc sheets for their tortoise enclosure we have a people carrier so it is bigger than their car. I will go for extra long walk tomorrow.

    Well I only did 25 minutes of walking but it was great to be outdoors, the air was so crisp and clean. Tonight will be yoga as I'll be by myself and will have the tv free. Have a great weekend. ~Karen

    Today I did 25 minutes on the elliptical and walked to the grocery store.

    Today I did 25 minutes of a Fit TV Pilates class, then went for an hourlong walk along the beach. Beautiful, wild, windy day! I'm so happy to be home. I did a series of lunges, leg lifts and a tiny bit of light running in the soft sand to see how my knee feels.

    That's it for today. Going to take a yoga class tomorrow...

    My husband and I cleaned up the garage! I know that burns calories. Just thinking about what to do with all the stuff HAD to burn calories! :laugh: We figured out that we need a bigger garage! We have too many car projects! Tomorrow I think I am going to get out and do some sanding on the car and maybe put primer on if it's not too windy. I think it burns a couple hundred calories an hour.

    Hi all. I spent the entire night last night in the ER with my little one. He has a GI infection of some sort. I'm running on three hours sleep so the only exercise I've gotten in today is yawning. Praying I have a quiet night's sleep so I can have the gumption to work out tomorrow...
