HIIT

How do I record High Intensity Interval Training? I know it is partially weight training but it torches calories too so I want to include it in cardio. Thus far, I've been recording it as Tae Bo but I don't think that is very accurate. Help!

What I do (which is totally inaccurate, but it's worked pretty solidly) is set up a calorie level for myself with no work outs, no activity for a day (for me its 1300) and add 200 cals for a relatively active day (on my feet, walking, yoga, etc). and add 400 cals for a hard workout (lifting and yoga, etc.)

It's not perfect, but really, we never know precisely how many calories we burn and listening to my body works pretty well. (unless it tells me I need chocolate...still fighting it on that one)

Or, even easier, just set your calories at an even rate, and don't add exercise calories. Makes life way more awesome. If you should be at 1500 without any exercise, just make it like 1700 and call it a day. As long as you hit your goals, it doesn't matter. Adjust as needed.
