Do you yourself change the battery in your Polar HRM? I have a Polar F11 and I am thinking the battery is starting to go but my son bought it for me online for a Christmas gift and there is NO close approved dealer. My DH says he can do it but I was abit concerned he may harm something! Thanks for your help fitness pals!

I don't own a F11, so I am only speculating. How about a reputable jeweler? I take all our watches in to get battery changes. How much different can it be?
But if you use it for swimming then I would find a polar approved or send it in to polar to change the battery.0 -
If it's not changed by an authorized Polar repair person, you void the warranty, and you risk negating the waterproofing. I am living in terror of the day that mine dies, because I'll have to send it across the country for the replacement, and be without it for however long it takes.0

Someone at my gym said they took theirs to Radio Shack and they changed it no problem.0
